The Clock Towers Condominiums are the epitome of easy, low-maintenance living in Downtown Lancaster, PA. Read on to explore the amenities, features, and nearby attractions these historic condos offer.
History of The Clock Towers
The building was first built in 1874, serving as the home of the Adams and Perry Watch Company. Over the years, the space had a few transitions until the Hamilton Watch Company settled in and expanded to eventually take over the entire block! The Hamilton Watch Company had contracts with national entities, allowing them to become a major employer in the Lancaster area. Over the years, Hamilton Watch Company downsized, and for a while, the building sat idly awaiting new occupants. A developer came along, noticing the building’s potential for residential use, and soon, the Clock Tower Condominiums were created! 135 units now call the Clock Towers home. Though the interior was completely redesigned, the exterior remains the same, earning the building a spot on the US Department of the Interior’s National Historic (Building) Register.
