Walton Hill is a neighborhood in Lititz, PA, where Landmark Homes built 41 single-family homes on the former Walton family farm in Warwick Township. About 12 acres remain open space, pond included, and downtown Lititz is roughly five minutes away by car.
About Walton Hill
Landmark Homes is a family-owned builder that brothers Cliff and Clair Weaver started in 1998. At Walton Hill, Landmark built single-family homes from designs like the Charlotte, the Westbrooke, and the Benson, which put the owner's suite on the main level. Most lots run from about a sixth to a third of an acre, and a few run up to nearly half an acre.
Landmark lists Walton Hill as sold out as of October 2026, so homes here now come up as resales. Township approvals call for a homeowners association to own and maintain the open space and stormwater areas.
The land was the Walton family's farm, about 25 acres, mostly older cropland, with a pond in the middle and woods along Bachman Run on the east side. Warwick Township approved the final plan in 2022 as a cluster development, which groups the homes on smaller lots and leaves the rest open.
Why the Lititz Location Matters
Walton Hill has a Lititz mailing address, but it sits in Warwick Township rather than Lititz Borough. Moravians founded Lititz, and according to Lititz Borough, Count Zinzendorf named it in 1756 for a castle in Bohemia, now the Czech Republic, where the early Moravian Brethren found refuge in 1456.
The neighborhood connects to Lititz Pike (Route 501) through Tupelo Street and the established streets around it. Downtown Lititz is about 1.7 miles away by car. Downtown Lancaster is about eight miles south, around 20 minutes by car, and Lancaster Airport is about two and a half miles from home.
What Daily Life Looks Like
Most errands stay close. The GIANT on Lititz Pike is about a mile away, and Stauffers of Kissel Hill is nearby on the same road. UPMC Lititz, a full-service community hospital, is about a mile away.
Downtown is the draw. Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery, founded in 1861, runs tours with a pretzel-twisting lesson on East Main Street. Wilbur Chocolate has been in town since the 1930s, and at its store on North Broad Street you can watch the chocolatiers work. Bulls Head Public House serves British pub fare on East Main, and Tomato Pie Cafe is on North Broad. Every February, the Fire & Ice Festival fills downtown with ice sculptures.
Schools, Parks, Trails, and Local Spots
Walton Hill is in Warwick School District. The district's street-by-street attendance list places Walton Hill's streets in the Kissel Hill Elementary area, and that school is about a mile away. Warwick Middle School and Warwick High School are each about two miles away by car.
Warwick High's 2026-27 curriculum guide lists more than a dozen AP courses, and juniors and seniors can take career and technical programs at the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center. GreatSchools rates Warwick High School 10 out of 10 as of October 2026.
Lititz Springs Park is about five minutes away. It's a private park owned by the Lititz Moravian Congregation and open to the public daily, dawn to dusk. The park hosts what organizers call the second-oldest consecutive Fourth of July celebration in the country, and the 209th was this past July. At dusk, more than 4,500 candles are lit across the park before the fireworks, a tradition that dates to 1843.
The Warwick to Ephrata Rail Trail starts at Broad Street in Lititz and runs 7.5 miles to Ephrata, with parking at Lititz Springs Park. The Lititz recCenter, about seven minutes from Walton Hill, has indoor pools, a seasonal outdoor pool, gyms, and fitness classes.
Who Walton Hill Fits Best
Walton Hill fits buyers who want a newer home in an established part of Lititz.
- Families who want Warwick schools, with Kissel Hill Elementary about a mile away.
- Buyers who want downtown Lititz close without living on a borough street.
- Anyone who wants a pond and open space inside the neighborhood.
- Buyers who want a hospital and everyday errands a few minutes from home.
It's a tougher fit if you want acreage or a brand-new build. Lots are modest, and with Landmark sold out, the only way in is a resale.
