About Manheim Township

Manheim Township is located within Lancaster County, just north of Lancaster City.  Its roots as a community reach back to 1729, when it was established as one of the first townships in Pennsylvania.  Manheim Township is a conservative, stable community with many retirees, where most residents own a home. The township is run by a five-member Board of Commissioners, each of whom serves a four-year term.  These members strive to promote Manheim Township as a quality place to live, and work to provide quality services to the community.
