Exploring The District

It is located at the southern end of Lancaster County. The school district makes up around 180 square miles. It serves the Providence and Eden Townships. As well as Quarryville Borough, Little Britain Township, Bart Township, Drumore Township, East Drumore Township, and Fulton Township. The population as of 2010 was 31,871.

The area is home to seven public schools which include four elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school and a virtual academy for grades K-12. The district teaches an average of 3,536 students per year in grades JK-12 with a student to teacher ratio of 15:1. According to recent testing scores, 45% of students are proficient in Math while 65% are proficient in Reading.
